NGL Past Captain's match v Buckinghamshire

Set in the Chilton Hills, Chilton Forest G C is not very long 5750yds white tees we played from the yellow tees. Very tightly wooded with smallish greens, hard walking with steady climbs to elevated greens on the back nine.

Weather was very good dry with only a little wind, course in good condition.

President David Hill fielded a strong team for what was going to be a difficult match as several of the Buck’s team members or ex members.

We started our day in the usual way a light lunch sandwiches and chips.

Dinner was two course Starter and Main and very good it was too.

You will see from the results sheet the match did not go in Northamptonshire favour we lost  5-3.
