NGL Boys Matchplay KO Final

Overstone Park’s Mark Stockdale secured the remaining men’s prize in the 2019 NGL season as he defeated Ben Lavender (Northampton) 4&2 in the Boys Matchplay KO Final in wet weather at Kettering GC.
Stockdale reached the showpiece match after narrow wins against Oscar Bell and County Strokeplay Champion Joseph Hyde, before outplaying Max Faulkner in the last four.
Lavender’s progress to the final saw him beat Euan Herson on the 18th hole, Charlie Pearce by the scoreline 5&3 and then Cold Ashby’s Adam Kerr 2&1 in the semi-final.
