Ladies Am-Am title secured with 93 points

Whittlebury Park’s Danielle Edwards and Deborah Dixon combined perfectly with Silverstone duo Ann Lester and Sandy Pattenden to win the NGL Ladies Am-Am tournament at Cherwell Edge GC.
The quartet were a model of consistency throughout the day as they posted 93 points to finish one ahead of the home team of Jackie Beare, Anne Moffitt, Gail Hill and Carol Grinnel.
Gill Hodgson, Kerry Hambleton, Freya Pickford and Gill Osborne finished third on countback from Overstone Park club-mates Sue Tickle, Shirley Morton, Larraine Betts and Ruth Cross on 88.
