National Success for Stockdale

Mark Stockdale, a member at Overstone Park and Northants County, and a Northamptonshire first team player, stormed to victory in the WAGR event The West of England Championship beating off a field from all over the UK.  Mark's score of 11 under was one of only two better than par, and left his nearest rival 8 shots behind.  This follows Mark's tremendous run in the South African Amateur, where he made it to the last 8, only being denied a semi-final place when his opponent holed out from 70 yards for eagle on the third extra hole.
