Home advantage really showed at Millbrook, with fast sloping greens and some quirky holes and most of our squad hadn't played the venue before. Going in at lunch 4-1 down, it was always going to be a big ask to come back and win.
All our players battled hard through sun, wind, rain and hailstones and there were some very promising performances, especially from our tail
