2017 Ladies Past Captains Presidents Day
Friday 15th September at Kingsthorpe GC
This event is held every year as a thank you to lady's who have shown commitment to fundraising for Northamptonshire Lady Past Captains by serving on the committee or being a delegate in their home clubs.
Ladies started the day with sandwiches & home made cake before starting their rounds.
Weather forecast for the day was ghastly, however despite these dire warnings 9 holes was managed in high winds but with no rain , then heavy showers on the back nine still did not deter us , all managed to finish battered but not beaten !! Kingsthorpe is a difficult course in good weather, in bad it is nigh impossible.

However Julie Edwards shared her chocolates with her playing partners Anne Seabrookm & Vera White which was a lovely gesture especially as both these ladies have served as Presidents of NLPGC.
The game was followed by a superb high tea , plenty of laughter , lots of chatting.
Wonderful day had by all on my 3rd and last Presidents' Day.
