Seniors v. Warwickshire
Kingsthorpe GC Monday 26th June 2017.
On a perfect, windless summers day the Seniors were hopeful of a victory.
The morning greensomes however saw the Seniors trail at lunchtime.
A great seven and six win by Alan Freeman and David Dare , followed by a three and two victory by Andrew MacDonald and home player Phil Summers really set up what seemed at lunchtime an unlikely victory. Paul Walters and Patrick Anderson both home players came in with a half. Unfortunately the rest of the team came up short. Everyone enjoyed the day and a big thank you must go to Kingsthorpe for the course and the catering.
