Ladies Vets 1st v Leicestershire & Rutland match

Monday 2nd July 2018 at Cosby GC

Our second 1st Team match, was played away at Cosby Golf Club in Leicestershire. It was a very hot day again, but thankfully there was a nice breeze blowing. I was met by the Leicestershire & Rutland Lady Captain Terri and the Lady President Sue, whom I had met at a previous match. After the cards were written out,  the Ladies  began to make their way to the 1st Tee, out first was Mary MacLaren and Karin Henderson leading the way for the rest of the team. Terri and myself watched all the Ladies go from the 1st tee, after the  last pairing teed off, I then went to find a nice spot on the course to watch my Team. I found a  shady spot on a par 3, and stayed there watching the pairs coming through. When the last pair had gone I made my way back to the 18th, so I was there to watch when they came in. Dinner was served as the groups came in, the meal we had was excellent, and after the speeches were done I gave the  results out, Northamptonshire won 5 & 3. So well done to the my Ladies that played, and thank you for taking part in todays match.
