Ladies Vets 2nd v Bedfordshire match

Monday 13th August 2018 at Oundle GC

Our last and final match for the year, was held at Oundle Golf Club, I was hoping that the rain we had on Sunday would blow over, which it did, and we had another glorious warm day, a little bit windy, but never the less a lovely day it turned out to be. The first match started at 10.30am on the 1st tee, and as usual I was there to see my all my girls tee off. Carol and myself then walked up to the 9th were the halfway house is, and waited for the first group to pass bye, and then walked to the 10th hole, to do some ball spotting. The Ladies were very grateful for our help, as it is one of those holes that you can not see the ball when it lands. I do enjoy watching the matches, especially when we communicate between each other, with a thumb up or down, just to let me know how the match is going. When all the  matches were finish, we then sat down to a very nice meal, and I would just like to say, thank you to Oundle Golf club for all their support in making the day so special. The team won 5 1/2 v 2 1/2.

The season has been great for my teams, we have lost 1 match, halved 2 Matches and won 6 matches.

Thank you so much to all the Ladies that have played through out the summer this year.
I look forward to seeing most of you at Elton Furze for the Autumn Meeting in September.
