NGL Ladies Vets Spring Meeting

Monday 14th May 2018 at Peterborough Milton GC

Our first Meeting of the year, started with glorious sun shine, not to hot, a little bit of wind perfect conditions.  I had the privilege of being on the 1st Tee seeing 78 Ladies going out to play. There was a fabulous atmosphere in the club house and on the 1st Tee.  It wasn't long before the first Ladies out. were seen coming down the 18th, followed by the rest of the field. Every one said that the course was in excellent condition, but the greens were very slick and quick to putt on. I heard stories of being on the green, and 3 putting from nowhere, and the bunkers for some were hard to get out of.

All in all, everyone came in with a smile. Congratulations go to the winners of the day

My thanks go to Peterborough Milton GC for having all of us there for the day, the Bar staff for keeping us fed and watered before and after the meeting, also  Barbara Skeet (Vets Rep) for helping and  staying all day , also Liz who was very busy all day doing the cards and the results and finally all the Ladies who took part in the meeting.
