Peterborough Milton GC, 20TH May 2019
The team got off to a far better startthan usual in the morning foursomes coming in 3-2 ahead. Richard Cole and Paul Armitage turning a 2 hole deficit into a hard fought half by winning the last 2 holes.
As per last year we had a strong afternoon singles winning 7 1/2 to 2 1/2 giving us an overall match win 10 1/2 to 4 1/2.
Another sterling performance from Ted Dunn winning his foursomes match followed by a 6&5 victory in the singles!
A big thank you once again to the Milton team for looking after us extremely well and presenting an excellent golf course with very good greens.
I am pleased to say that not only did the team perform brilliantly but they continue to play in the spirit that our past Captain Mike Abbotte instilled in us all- Competitive , but always friendly social golf, well done to the whole team.
