A competitive and enthusiastic team captained by Amy Nunn headed to Badgemore Park GC for the finals of the South Midland Ladies 2nd Team on Thursday 11th August 2022.
Following an amber weather warning of extreme heat the ladies played in temperatures of over 30 degrees against a strong and experienced Buckinghamshire Team. With an overall win of 5 - 1 result the win meant the Northamptonshire team finished 3rd in the overall Midlands South 2nd Team league standings.
Congratulations to the team and a special mention to rookies Molly-May Baker & Olivia Hollyoak-Church earning their first county points for the Ladies 2nd team, both winning their matches 3&2.
A big thank you to everyone who played in the final and in the league matches this year - we have a competitive and enthusiastic squad which I am very proud of.
