Northamptonshire Ladies second team warmed up for the new season with an encouraging 6-3 friendly victory against Warwickshire at Northampton GC.
Despite a narrow loss in the opening foursomes tie, the home side took a 2-1 lead into the afternoon singles, thanks to wins for debutante's Molly May Baker and Lila Bisset (3&1) and Gracie Murray and Chelsey Sharp (6&4).
The momentum stayed with Northamptonshire as Katie Amos (5&4), Murray (2&1) and Bisset (3&2) confirmed the team win, before Sharp added another point on the closing hole.
