Cambridgeshire v Northants.
In the morning foursomes it was tight match with the points shared 2-2. The top match lost 1 down in a tight game, but on the second match, our captain for the day, Kai Raymond and his partner Ollie Penberthy, put in a great performance to win 7/6. Callum Sainsbury and Harrison Panter, also managed a 3/1 victory. Our two young rookies of Ollie Walden and Cameron Black, were unlucky to owe by 1 hole.
In the afternoon singles, the boys got off to a great start. The first 3 games were won easily. There were two close losses and another 3 wins in the latter games. A notable mention to Ollie Walden who came back from 4 down, to win on the last and all in his first game.

Northants v Notts.
Northants put up a good fight against a strong Notts team. The morning foursomes were difficult, with only Kai Raymond and Ollie Penberthy managing a win, which left Northants trailing 3-1 going into the singles.
In the afternoon singles, the boys put in a great performance against a string side. Newly crowned County Boys Champion Jack Peters, managed to to win on the last in a tight game. Unfortunately Kai was unlucky to lose on the last. Ollie Penberthy was yet again in fantastic form and blew away his opponent in a 7/6 win. Ollie scored maximum points on the day. Harrison Panter sneaked a win on the last and was followed by a 3/2 win by Jason Pham. Unfortunately, the last 3 matches didn't go our way and the singles were halved. All in all, it was a good performance and all the boys contributed to the team.
