NGL Past Captain's 3 Coun ties match
10th August 2023 at Lakeside Lodge Golf Centre
Cambridgeshire hosted this year's Three Counties at Lakeside Lodge Golf Club.
As normal we started the day with coffee and bacon baps.
With each county fielding a strong team and only four last minute subs tuitions on the day.
Everyone enjoyed the course and weather on the day.
The post-match meal of Roast Lamb rump with garlic& rosemary, Dauphinoise potatoes selection of vegetables followed by choice of desert.
With two discarded score from each team Cambridgeshire won on home turf with a score 470 points Northamptonshire 2nd 466 and the wooden spoon going to Bedfordshire 446.
