On Sunday in thunder, heavy rain and eventually sunshine the county girls hosted Worcestershire and Herefordshire at Northants County golf club.
Unfortunately Worcestershire & Herefordshire could only manage to field a team of 8 players.
The scratch team came up against a very strong and experienced W&H side, games were tight and birdies were needed to half holes. The girls battled hard but we eventually lost 1.5 to 3.5, as a result we could no longer qualify for the regional finals.
The handicap team which comprised of 3 home members faired better and won 3-2 after being given 1 game.
All games were played in great spirits and the day was enjoyed by all.
