Taylor Sargeant (Kingsthorpe) emphasised his status as the golfer to play alongside in 2018 as he clinched the NGL Stableford Cup with Garry Tindle (Overstone) after posting a 36-hole tally of 85 points at Whittlebury Park GC.

Trailing by seven after the opening round, Sargeant, who won the Scratch Foursomes with Sam Henfrey last month, was in devastating touch in the afternoon as he bagged seven birdies and an eagle to help snatch victory by two points.
