The UK Government has announced that golf will be able to resume in England on Wednesday 13 May 2020.
Under government rules released on 11 May, the following groupings will be permitted upon resumption of play:
Individuals playing golf on their own.
Two-balls comprising of individuals from different households
At the discretion of the golf club, members of the same household playing in two, three or four-balls.
England Golf has produced a series of ‘Play Safe, Stay Safe' guidelines to enable our golfers, clubs and counties to prepare in advance for golf's return.

We have built a robust framework for clubs and continue to collaborate with the other home nations, The R&A and industry associations to ensure a responsible and organised return to playing the game.
Guidance may require to be re-issued as government measures to combat COVID-19 are reviewed and updated.
England Golf has worked with The R&A, home nations, PGA and other industry associations to provide the following two guidance documents for everyone involved in the game nationally
