Jensen Parfitt and Thalia Martin produced outstanding performances to claim the honours in the 2020 Men's and Ladies County Championships respectively at Collingtree Park.
Less than a month after winning the Collingtree Park Club Championship title for the first time, Parfitt once again used all his local knowledge, particularly over the back nine, to claim top spot in the 18-hole event with a two-under-par 70.
Despite trailing England international Callum Farr (Northants County) by a couple of shots with six holes to play, the four-handicapper birdied the 13th, 14th, 17th and 18th holes to snatch a one-stroke victory.
Parfitt also won the Parsons Cup net title, the Braid's Driver for the best round of an under-22 golfer, before completing the clean sweep with victory in the team event alongside club-mates Martin Conley and Aakash Shah.
Peterborough Milton's Martin more than matched Parfitt's efforts as she secured the Ladies title for the second time with a sensational Collingtree Park course record seven-under-par 67.
Martin, who was also successful in 2016, never looked back after carding four birdies and no bogeys on the outward half, before picking up further shots on the 11th and 13th holes.
The plus-one handicapper dropped her only stroke of the day on the 15th, but responded in style with back-to-back birdies on the closing two holes to finish an incredible 10 shots clear of runner-up Ellie Darnell (Wellingborough).
Although Martin was unable to claim the net prize, which went to Mary MacLaren (Wellingborough), the result capped an incredible year in which she reached the knockout stages of both the English Amateur and Women's Amateur Championships.
