Northampton Golf Club was resplendent in early summer sunshine as it played host to 59 of Northamptonshire's finest men golfers as they contested the annual Men's County Championship. After the morning round Whittlebury Park's Torin Little led with an excellent bogey-free four-under-par 68, closely followed by Jamie Milligan (Wellingborough) on 69 and Jack Brown (Brampton Heath) with 70.
