Barker wins the 2023 NGL Seniors Championship at the first attempt

James Barker wins the 2023 NGL Seniors Championship with a score of 71, James scored an excellent 1 over par on the front nine, followed this up with 2 birdies at the 15th and 17th to hold his nerve before finishing with a double bogey 6 on the last hole. Brendon Moss finished second with a score of 73 which included 2 birdies on the 7th and 15th  and a strong 1 over par back nine. Michael Barnett finished 3rd of a score of 75 which was a part of four players all finishing on the same score.

Tony Langley wins the President's Trophy with a nett 65, closely followed by Kevin Purkiss and Ian Townsend with nett 66 scores.

The 2023 Seniors Team event went to Kingsthorpe C with a score of 204 for David Garfield (67), Daron Goodes (71) and Ian Townsend (66).

The age group winners on the day were -

55 - 59 Barry Harding 

60- 64 Dennis Mathers

65+ Edward Dunn
