Darnell and Genner win the new NGL Scratch OPEN Pairs competition

The new NGL Scratch OPEN Pairs was a great success and the scoring and feedback from the players proved it. The first 4 places were all decided by the afternoon rounds as there was only 1 shot between them. The winners Jordan Darnell and Ryan Genner won with a score of 142 (69 & 73) followed by the next three pairs all on 143. Jordan and Ryan were 1 under par in the morning and followed this up with 2 birdies and 5 bogies 73 in the afternoon. 

Second were Liam McNeela and Jamie Milligan with scores of 72 and 71. They had a strong finish of 2 under par back nine of 33 with 2 birdies. Third were Jensen Parfitt and Taylor Sargeant with the better morning round 71 and 72. They also were 1 under par on the back nine with 2 birdies and 1 bogey. In fourth place were Andy Billson and Andy Castell with an excellent 2 under par morning round of 68, they had an excellent second round until a 6 on the 17th cost them the title. 

Collingtree Park was in excellent condition and were the perfect host for this new competition. Oliver Hart the General Manger was presented with the NGL plaque for hosting the competition.
