The weather was not the best and unfortunately we tried but had to abandon the afternoon round due to the safety of all the players with thunder and lightening. The Girls Junior Champion was Lila Bisset Northants County GC with a score 76. The Handicap Trophy was won by Edie Connolly Collingtree Park GC with a score of nett 72.
The Boys Junior Championship was won by James Attwood Kettering GC with a score of 75, while the Handicap Trophy was won by Oliver Goldby Northants County GC with a score of nett 66 on count back, who doubled up by also winning the singles Inter Club Irish Cup trophy with 40 points.
The Inter Club Scottish Cup (3 scores out of 4) was won by Northants County B with a score of 105, Oliver Goldby 40, Olivia Holyoak-Church 33, Molly-May Baker 32 and Oscar Robbins 23. They only managed to beat Collingtree Park who had the same score 105 by Oliver's individual score of 40.
The Shoe & Leather trophy (2 scores out of 4) was won by Northampton B with 73 points, Thomas Hodgkinson 40, Eva-Grace Pearson 33, Riley Hammond 26 and Matthew Reeve 26. Runners up were Wellingborough GC with 67 points.
The NGL presented Cold Ashby Golf Centre with a thank you plaque for hosting the competitions today to David Durham their Vice Captain and Board member and they were brilliant in looking after us all during a long day with adverse weather.
