The two semi finals in the junior league could not have been closer or more nail biting. Both matches needed play off holes.
Northampton hosted Peterborough Milton A and it was an incredibly close match with two matches finishing tied and the overall result finishing 2 - 2. The lowest handicappers for each team went back down the first for a sudden death playoff and it was Northampton's Cameron Black who recorded a rock solid par to edge out Maliha Mirza from Peterborough who narrowly missed her par putt.
In the second semi final Collingtree Park hosted PMGC B and again it was a tight and tense affair. Again two matches finished tied and the match ended 2 - 2. Low handicappers for each team went back down the first for a sudden death playoff and hitting their second shots Peterborough's Isaac Hedger found the green from 160 yards but it was difficult to see where the ball had finished against the low sun, while Collingtree's Adam Haywood found the front trap. Remarkably when the green was reached, Isaac found his pitch mark 4 inches from the hole and the ball in the cup for an incredible eagle two to secure a final place for Peterborough Milton B against Northampton
