Elton Furze 2024 Cecil Leitch Champions

This year's Cecil Leitch final at Collingtree Park was battled out by two clubs who haven't laid hands on the trophy for many years Daventry (34 years) and Elton Furze (17 years).  The match was played in great spirit with four of the five games going the full 18 holes, leading to some nerve-shredding approach shots over the water to the signature 18th green.  In the late-autumn sunshine, Elton Furze finally ran out winners by four games to one.
