Lila Bisset and Sue Pawson take the titles at the Women's County Championship

Lila Bisset, Northants County, made an excellent start with a 70 in the morning, 4 birdies with both the front and back nine 1 under par. The afternoon round of 75, 3 over par had two 7's on the 1st and 11th but recovered well with an eagle on the 9th and two birdies on the 7th and 14th.

Second place was Baylie Pyke, Overstone Park, and third was Hattie Billson from Northants County.

The Swanell, nett trophy, was won by Sue Pawson, Elton Furze, with 7 pars and a nett 69, 4 under. The afternoon round was a level nett 72 with a birdie on the 17th and 4 pars.

The top three nett prizes were won by Elton Furze players with Lady Club Captain Trish Wittamore finishing nett 2nd and also receiving the Northamptonshire Golf thank you plaque. Photo below and Pauline Hurley finishing 3rd.

The Champion Team competition was won by Northants County GC with Lila Bisset, Hattie Billson and Lottie Heaver and will qualify for the England Golf finals.
