Rowleys retain their crown

John Rowley (Brampton Heath) and Steve Rowley (Farthingstone) retained their NGU Family Foursomes title after the father-and-son combination won the 2014 event on countback at Rushden.

The Rowleys, who triumphed last year at Kingsthorpe, took the honours from the Brampton Heath husband-and-wife duo of Ricky and Karen Bowman after both carded the leading mark of 34 points.

Wellingborough’s Ashley Connolly and Ryan Connolly (33) finished third on countback from the Northampton father-and-son partnership of Darren Matthews and Jordan Matthews.
