Play-off success for Milton youngsters

Peterborough Milton B were crowned Junior League champions after winning a sudden death play-off against Northants County after the final finishing all square at Overstone Park.
Matt Reed, who got Milton on the scoreboard by beating Rhys Taylor 4&3 in the opening tie, repeated the feat on the first additional hole as a net par secured the team victory.
In difficult windy conditions, Peterborough’s other wins came from Will Firman and Charlie Armitage, who clinched his match with a birdie on the 16th and a par on the 17th. County’s points were claimed by George Elderton, Hattie Billson and Taylor Morgan.
