Ben Jones (Northants County) was crowned 2016 Boys County champion after holding off the challenge of Callum Farr (Priors Hall) by three strokes at Overstone.
In difficult wet weather conditions, Jones carded scores of 72 and 71 to get the better of Farr, who shot a magnificent five-under-par 67 in the afternoon.
Home club member Cameron Reeves lifted the 36-hole Handicap Trophy as a superb second round of net 66 pushed him one ahead of Jones and Kingsthorpe’s Elijah Woodward, who won the Under-16 prize.
The other age category net prizes went to Peterborough Milton’s Jacob Williams (Under-14s) and Collingtree’s Liam McNeela (Under-18s).
Farr was the leading Under-18s gross player, Charlie Salter (Northants County) clinched the Under-16 gross plaudits, while Joseph Hyde (Kettering) won the Under-14s gross prize.
