Whittlebury Park’s Natasha Ainsley-Thomas celebrated her 18th birthday in style as she produced a dominant performance in the County Girls Championships at Overstone.
Ainsley-Thomas, who finished fourth in the Ladies County Strokplay Championships on her way to reaching the Matchplay semi-finals a few weeks earlier, posted the best gross round in both the morning and afternoon.
Wellingborough’s Becky MacLaren finished 10 strokes adrift in second place.
A brilliant net 70 in the opening round helped Amelia Humphreys (Brampton Heath) clinch the 36-hole Handicap Trophy by one from Rayner Edwards, who claimed the Under-18 net prize. Humphreys also won the Irish Cup Singles.
The Under-14s gross and net prizes went to Jade Roberts (Peterborough Milton) and Baylie Pyke (Overstone) respectively.
Ellie Darnell (Wellingborough) overcame a dreadful first round to win the Under-16 gross, while Katie Amos (Northampton) continued her development by taking the Under-16 net honours.
