Superb Elliot wins 2017 County Junior Par 3 crown

Elliot Strickland produced a magnificent nine-hole round of golf on the short course at Brampton Heath GC to lift the County Junior Par 3 Championship title.

The Northampton GC member was in great form in the windy conditions as he birdied the third hole on his way to beating a field containing several single figure handicappers with a gross level par winning score of 27.

Nine-year-old Jadon Pham (Overstone) was no less impressive in clinching the net competition with a brilliant score of net 22.
